About us

In March of 1999, we had just gotten married and were moving cross country from Washington state to Tennessee for Phil's new job.  Phil was looking for a snack that would be easy to take to eat at work.  He liked beef jerky but couldn't find anything that was outstanding in taste and quality.  We decided to try making our own beef jerky.  Phil got his sister's receipe, we tweaked it here and there and started dehydrating our own beef jerky.  Fast forward to today:  we have crafted our own receipe and seasonings and now we smoke our jerky! What began as a hobby has turned into a passion for exceptional jerky in taste, quality, and the perfect smoke balance.  We hope you'll try each flavor and enjoy the taste and excellence we put into every piece of our beef jerky.
